18 Months & Nursery

This little bad boy is now 18 months and going to be in Nursery. Yay! I can't say enough about how happy this little boy makes me. He has such a personality. He thinks he is a good ball. Can't wait to see what he grows up to be. At 18 months Brixton is still napping each day and goes to bed about 7:30pm. He is so easy to put to bed and wakes up in the morning and plays in bed till I come get him. I think he has all of his teeth. Just growing up so fast! He has started to talk a lot more not to a of words but some and he loves saying hi and bye these days. He is a healthy boy and one of the loves of my life. Don't know what I would do without my little family. His stats for 18 months are: Weight 25lbs 11oz 50%
Height 34 1/4in 90%
Head 18 3/4 in 45%

First day in nursery was great. He did so well. The next Sunday however, he was very upset and scared to the point of t throwing up. His teacher came to get me and I spent the rest of the day in nursery with him. He would hardly go into the room without crying. Poor guy! Hopefully he will start to feel comfortable soon. Love him tons! So grateful to have a boy. They definitely holds a special place in my heart! I love that he is a momma's boy! Is that bad?

Jesus wants Me for a Sunbeam!

Berkeley is now a Sunbeam! We can not believe that she is moving on to primary. Time is going by so fast. She is turning into a beautiful little girl. We are so blessed to have her sweet spirit in home.

Fun in 2012

Things we have been up to lately. These kids make life crazy and exciting! Wouldn't know what to do without them!

Christmas with the Reays

Christmas is probably my most favorite time of the year. A time to think of our Savior Jesus Christ and his birth. Our elf Freddy came back this year and surprised the kiddos with some crazy activities. The kids enjoy waking up each morning to find Freddy. He watches them daily and then reports to Santa at night while the kids are asleep. When they wake up they find him doing crazy things.

This year we had Christmas with my side of the family. Everyone stayed the Xmas Eve night at my parents. That night the kids dressed up and played out the nativity story. I think Berkeley was the angel, not real sure looking back. Quite the party. The girls woke up at 5am and would not go back to bed so we started our day pretty early. Not too many pictures of them opening presents because Berkeley was ripping through them right and left. And Brixton couldn't be bothered after the first one. Oh well. That's not really what matters. Christmas was great! It was great to be with family and celebrate our Savior.

Thanksgiving with the Haak Family

This year we had Chad's family come into town for Thanksgiving. It is so nice to have everyone together even if it is just for a few days. We had lots of fun together. Berkeley's cousin Logan was able to go to Berkeley's Thanksgiving Feast at preschool. They are so cute together. The best of friends. Wish they lived closer. :( We spent our time at Bounce U and Peter Piper Pizza. We also go to go to the Phx museum and play with Legos and search for dinosaur fossils. Always tons of fun with family. Love and miss their company!

Halloween! BOO!

This year for Halloween, Berkeley dressed up as Cinderella of course because everything is about princesses these days. Brixton dressed up as a monkey. Let me just say they were the cutest things ever. They were both a little scared to ask for candy but loved looking at the Halloween decorations and getting the candy!

Happy Birthday!

Friday April 4th was my dad's birthday. We all got together for some dinner and dessert at my parent's house. He was kind of depressed thinking that 50 was bad until my mom broke the news to him that he was turning 51! I guess those years pass by in a blink of an eye. Anyway it was a great day!

New Dental Practice

Today Chad can finally say that he owns his own dental practice. He has been searching for the perfect one and today we are proud owners of a great practice. He is so excited! He will begin practicing at his new practice April 1st, so not much of a break. We are really excited about the area. It is located in Gilbert on Lindsay and Pecos. This means his drive will be cut in half. It will be great to have him home earlier and much happier. Anyway, just wanted to get the news out to everyone.

Easter week

Last week we had the opportunity to have Chad's sister and bro in law come down and visit us. We had lots of fun hanging out with them. We are hoping that they move down here after Eric gets done with dental school. Yes another dentist. While they were here we went to a Giant's spring training game and sat in the hot sun. Later that night we went to the Mesa Temple and saw the Easter pageant. They hadn't been for a long time so that was fun. Of course we got Pete's Fish and Chips before. We also had a night of Rock Band. Kitrina and I mostly played the guitars while Chad played the drums and Eric sang. It was a blast.
